Oct. 29 Halloween Dive $5.00 will get someone $50.00.
Membership drive open for suggestions?
A debit card for checking account is being obtained.

Treasurer’s Report Donna Sabol, Treasurer, reports following amounts for Sept:
 A checkbook balance of $1453.34. after paying $572 for Raystown picnic.

Thanks to John, Ron, Donna, Dan & Diane for quarry clean up in Sept.
Thanks to everyone for help for Raystown picnic. It was a great success.

Recruiting posters by Donna S are being printed for next meeting. Where will you place your three??
Board members were nominated for election in Dec; Lori Kerr, Bert Sharbaugh and Denny Beecher.  NOMINATIONS ARE STILL OPEN.
Zebra mussels in the quarry are going to be studied by ST Francis students Lisa Rich and Andrew.Scanlan
Orders for club shirts are being taken. SEE FLYER. Ask Lois

UPCOMING EVENTS/TRIPS:

 Haunted house get together on Oct. 15 at Ron & Lois’s place on 219 N at 7:00 Pizza to follow tour of haunted house.
Halloween dive and chili cook off on Oct 29: dive starts at 1:00 –5:00 optional prize dive $5.00 winner takes $50.00  Cook off at 5:00at quarry unless weather forces a change. Email will be sent sat by 9:00am or call Donna Bender.
SHARKS at Altoona campus of PSU Nov 29, FREE TICKETS see Donna S or Pres John
Christmas dinner party will be at Penn Gables Sat Dec. 3 starting at 6:00. RSVP BY NON.3 MEETING   Chicken, Lasagna are $17 Fish $20 Dinner 7:00 music for dancing 8-11 More details on enclosed flyer

TRIP REPORTS

Donna S told about wrecks at Kingstown and dove on a 3 masted schooner with reporters from The Toledo Blade their article is to be printed on Oct 16.
Donna B showed a preview picture of sharks from Nassau WATCH FOR UP COMING VIDEO
 Ron P saw a new wreck in Erie a 3 masted schooner with the masks still upright. They were the first divers on this wreck
Bob Hand enjoyed his first Raystown dive at the picnic

Daybook winner Bob Hand won $84 and is sure to be at next meeting.
Door prize: Bert when will we see him wear his new hood?
