Board Meeting was held at Mauer Dive shop on Wednesday March 29, 2006
Members present: 11 and one great snazzy American Pie.  Educational speaker schedule was discussed. What would you like to learn at a meeting?  Quarry cost and deadbeats are an ongoing problem. What is your idea?  We will make a donation to Make a wish for $100 and be an official sponsor with name on shirt. Get yours before April 15th.

Treasurer's Report: Donna Sabol, Treasurer, reports following:  March Income: $3336  March Expenses: $2360.74.  Checkbook balance: $3222.62   Checkbook balance minus trip accrual: $1222.62

NO NEW MEMBERS WHAT ARE YOU DOING TO HELP?

                                                      OLD BUSINESS:

Trip deposits are due for Moorehead City on the 21st. There may be one opening. Contact Donna Sabol for details.

1,000 island trip still has room for one more. New divers don’t miss this one.

Dues are increasing to $30.00 due to increased quarry cost and less income.

Treasure dive will be $20.00 this year.

New fundraising for this year is MTO tickets in place of lottery. See Greg Lilly for tickets. $4.00 gets you a free sandwich of your choice with a fountain drink. You are not required to sell any if you don’t eat or a Sheets is more than 99 miles from your house. The tickets are our only fundraiser this year. Are you doing your share?

PASSPORT REMINDER: you can’t leave home without it.

Still room in basic class starting on April 15 at Mauer’s Dive Shop.

Nitrox class with Tim Laurito 948 7846 start on April 14. If you cant make it St Francis Adult Ed will have a class soon. Give someone a call now.

BAD TANK ALERT!!! Some out of state shops are refusing to fill certain 80 cylinders made of 6351 t6 aluminum manufactured by Luxfer, Walter Kitty , and Cliff Impact . See insert for details or call your local dive shop.

                                                UPCOMING EVENTS/TRIPS:

Make A Wish  Dive is Sat May 13 , 2006. Have fun, get a tee shirt, win a prize, get your money in by April 15 forget the taxman.

Dive of the month is this Saturday. We meet at Penn Gables at 9:00 and head for Mount Storm. Where do you want to go to next month?

April 22 is the Spring dive at the query at 1:00. We will probably stop after for dinner somewhere. Do you have any suggestions?

Ron showed pictures of Mt Storm And St Francis students had a great time learning in Bon Aire. Does continuing Ed have a class like this?

6351 T6 Aluminum Cylinders
Effective Immediately, Dive Tech Training Centre will no longer fill any Aluminum Scuba Cylinder made from 6351 T6 Alloy that was not Visually Inspected by Dive Tech Training Centre. This is due to the large amount of tanks we have received with a current Visual Inspection that showed visible cracking in the neck area.
The following is a list of all cylinders made of 6351 Alloy:
 All aluminum tanks under Special Permit # 6498, 922, 7042, 8107, 8364, 8422
 All Walter Kidde 3AL Cylinders
 All Cliff Impact Cylinders
 All Luxfer S80.8 Manufactured Prior May 1987
 All Luxfer S72 and S100 Manufactured prior to August 1987
 All Luxfer S80 Manufactured prior to January 1988
 All Luxfer S50 and S92 Manufactured prior to April 1988
 All Luxfer S30 and S63 Manufactured prior to May 1988
 All Luxfer S40 Manufactured prior to June 1988
Please Note, Catalina Cylinders were never made from 6351 T6.
